  • Marketing a local business

One of the biggest complaints we hear from clients who have grown frustrated with lagging sales is that traditional vehicles aren't working anymore.  For most, this includes Money Mailers, Ad Rags, leafletting or having a high-school student stand on the corner with a gigantic sign.

When we really take a look at the moving pieces, usually what we find are one-hit attempts to bolster sales-- a 1/4 page ad in the local paper, a single coupon flyer stuffed in mailboxes.  If the timing is right one-off efforts can work fine (if say you're selling air conditioning servicing in August), but more often then not, they are only skinny attempts that never break through the clutter.

Think about this...the average consumer is assaulted with over 2,000 ads a day via radio, tv, internet.  You've got to ask yourself, "what will it take for my message to break through the noise?"

    Some tips to get heard:

    • Give your business a voice and personality
    • Find out what makes your business unique (whether it's your hairstyle or your service)
    • Create a brand that is true to the soul of your business
    • Connect, connect, connect -- partnerships can help you grow exponentially
    • Nurture a solid reputation so customers will speak well of you and your business
    • Stay interesting!
  • Getting found means getting business

Get found and get the job with a solid online profile. Your digital tatoo is the first thing partners and clients look for when evaluating serious relationships. Many of the old standards have fallen by the wayside in our increasingly connected world.

A reference from a trusted resource can mean more than a million dollar ad campaign. Today's business relationships are build on trust not hearsay and reputation means everything. The goal is to stay in control of what people are saying about your business with targeted marketing that surrounds your day-to-day operations and long-term business goals.
